Armada historically avoids metal aside from their directional powerhouse models, but no longer. For the playful chargers who need a ski to truly, no really, do it all: meet the Armada ARV 106 Ti. It's a ski that blends a playful shape with a powerful core. A strategy we fully support here at the shop. Taking one of the most well-loved and popular freeride skis on the market, Armada juiced things up by adding a layer of banded titanal to the core. No changes to the shape, just a harder charging core to push through weird snow and track more smoothly at higher speeds. You'll also get extra bite on hard snow when Ullr hasn't come to town in a few weeks. But keeping the progressive, freestyle-inspired shape keeps this ski moving. You'll still be able to easily pivot and swivel the ski, ideal for navigating tight terrain or for skiers who like to wiggle their way down the hill. But, for those days you want to try on tackling the fall line? The ARV 106 Ti is more than happy to oblige.
