Flylow was founded in 2005 by a pair of Colorado-born skiers. After meeting in college, Greg Steen and Dan Abrams couldn't find gear durable enough for backcountry adventuring. Fast forward a decade and a half, and Flylow has infiltrated ski hubs like Denver, Jackson, Lake Tahoe (their three base locations), and beyond. Core skiers have led the charge. These days Flylow is one of our bestselling clothing brands and a go-to choice for our staffers.
The rest of the origin story goes like this:
"They figured, 'why not build ski clothes that could do it all? At the time, both Greg and Dan fancied themselves respectable telemark skiers. A French girl on the mountain saw them and seemed to agree yelling, 'You don't ski fast-you fly low." With that, Flylow was officially born."
Whether it's bibs, pants, jackets, midlayers, apres wear, flannels, or sun hoodies, Flylow gear is an essential part of our high country adventures.

The basics: "Glovens" sounds like a word you might use to make a kid laugh while convincing them to get dressed to play in the snow. But it is actually the piece of machinery that made Flylow famous and made their gloves the first pick for locals. Literally, a glove oven, Flylow uses "glovens" to bake Sno Seal into every pair of Oven Mitts, not once but three times. This process is what gives the Oven ... learn more
