- New ski boots may only be returned in their original new condition, including all packaging, tags, and accessories
- Boots must be returned inside their original undamaged boot box and re-packaged within a shipping box to prevent damage in transit.
- Any returned boots that arrive used, damaged, marked, or without all original packaging and a shipping box, will be declined and sent back to you.
- We always recommend trying on your new boots indoors to make sure they fit before taking them outside.

Topsheets: Good condition with scratching on the topsheet surface and several nicks along the topsheet edges, especially at the tips and tails.
Bases: Bases are in good condition with scratching and minimal deeper scratches, as well as a few small scrapes that have been refilled with ptex. These skis are freshly tuned, waxed, and ready for snow, although some scratches are still visible.

This Ski Is A Staff Favorite:
I love this ski! Many moons ago, I owned an old Volkl Kenja back from 2015, which was not a friendly ski for a budding intermediate. Ever since then, I was a little cautious about the Kendo/Kenja family. I decided to humor myself and hop on an updated Kendo recently, and boy did it teach me a lesson about judging old skis!! It's definitely on the stiff side of things (that titanal frame doesn't joke around), but where my old Kenjas just wanted to take big turns all the time, that 3D Sidecut Radius gives you the flexibility to whip tight, slalom-y turns, or rip long, arcing turns. The Kendo was the perfect ski to play around on at the end of a long demo day at Loveland. The groomers were either soft on the edges, or completely scrapped off, and the Kendo stayed smooth through it all.

The Volkl Kendo 88 is back and remains at the top of our list for frontside oriented all-mountain skis. After a few updates last season, the 23/24 Volkl Kendo 88 just gets fresh art. So what are some of these certified fresh updates? Marked by its spider-web appearance, the Tailored Carbon Tips adjust the stiffness and torsional strength of every model to seamlessly match the terrain and skiing style it's built for. The carbon in the Kendo, for instance, extends further into the body of the ski from the tips down than something like the Mantra 102, to prioritize more frontside prowess and stability. The tailored carbon pairs with tailored titanal to optimize the skis for skiers in every size. So, the 163cm will have less metal than the 184cm, tailoring the smaller sizes to smaller skiers. The bottom line? You get precise performance depending on what you need and where you need it. According to one Volkl rep: "The skis still reward aggression, but they don't require it." In other words, drive this ski as hard as you want, but don't get punished if you don't have perfect technique all the time. Sounds good to us.
