Our Take:
The Stockli Laser AX is a difficult ski to describe, even for professional ski nerds. To call it a race ski ignores the fact that you can ski it without superhuman (read: Ted Ligety) ability. The Swiss wizards at Stockli engineered enough skier-friendly technology into the AX to make it more maneuverable and more intuitive at all speeds than you may think. But to call it an intermediate or everyman (or everywoman) ski sells short its love for Maching smooth groomers and ripping trenches down imaginary slalom courses. And that conundrum does not include the discrepancy between European characterizations of gear (skinny skis for life!) and our western-USA affinity for extra girth. Do we call it an all-mountain ski or a carving ski or a recreational race ski? Whew...this is hard work. How about this: We will just tell you what we do know. The Laser AX has been one of the most popular skis among Powder7 customers for two years now. When our staffers need a ski for a groomer day at any of the mountains up I-70, they reach for the AX. And the two types of skiers best suited for these skis are those who want to beat everyone around them to the bottom and those who regard a technically savvy, perfectly carved turn as pure art. With that in mind, we will settle on calling the Laser AX a ski for people who love skiing. Similar skis: Head Supershape e-Titan, Stockli Laser AR.

The Stockli Laser AX is amazingly quick edge to edge. You can lay it over at speed with complete confidence. The rebound on fast carved turns is exhilarating! .At the same time, you can relax and just enjoy the ride if you prefer.

Excellent carver
I have read and heard about Stocki skis for years. People have said that they are well worth the money. I've skied for close to 60 years and agree with the reviews and what people have told me; these are the best skis I have ever had. Well done!

Perfect Skis
If a quick edge to edge ski is what you like then this is the ski for you. Bumps, Groomers and a pit of powder are easily navigated with the Laser AX. I really love this ski and will probably stick with it for years to come. They call it a Quiver Killer and you will see why.

How to Return an Item
- Option 1: Bring the item to our store in Golden, Colorado for a full refund
- Option 2: Use a printable FedEx return label provided by Powder7:
- You are responsible for handing the package off at your local FedEx Office
- We do not provide return labels for any carrier other than FedEx
Returning New Items
- Please notify us within 30 days of receiving the new item if you would like to return it. Buying a gift? Don’t worry: our return window is extended around the holidays.
- Items may only be returned in their original new condition, including all packaging, tags, and accessories.
- All items must be re-packaged within a shipping box to prevent damage in transit.
- Returned items that arrive used, damaged, marked, or without all original packaging, tags, etc., will be refused and sent back to you.
- Once a pair of new skis has been mounted, it cannot be returned.
- When the return is processed, you will receive a full refund for the returned product(s), minus $10 for the prepaid return shipping label provided by Powder7. Please note: any outbound shipping charges are not refunded.
- Once we receive the return, please allow 3-5 business days for that refund transaction to appear on your account statement.
Returning New Ski Boots
- Please notify us within 30 days of receiving your new boots if you would like to return them.
- New ski boots may only be returned in their original new condition, including all packaging, tags, and accessories
- Boots must be returned inside their original undamaged boot box and re-packaged within a shipping box to prevent damage in transit.
- Any returned boots that arrive used, damaged, marked, or without all original packaging and a shipping box, will be declined and sent back to you.
- We always recommend trying on your new boots indoors to make sure they fit before taking them outside.
- Once we receive your return, please allow 3-5 business days for that refund transaction to appear on your account statement.
Returning Demo Skis and Other Used Items
- Please notify us within 7 days of receiving the item that you would like to return it.
- Once you ski on a pair of demo skis they cannot be returned.
- When the return is processed, you will receive a full refund for the product(s) as well as a refund for standard ground shipping ($39.99 for used skis, $19.99 for used snowboards, etc.). Please note: expedited shipping costs or international shipping costs will not be refunded.
- Once we receive your return, please allow 3-5 business days for that refund transaction to appear on your account statement.

Manufacturing Defects
We work with the best manufacturers in the winter sports industry, but occasionally defects do occur. If you think your product has a manufacturing defect please contact us. We'll work with the manufacturer to determine if their warranty covers the damage. Determining if the issue is a manufacturing defect is solely up to the manufacturer, not Powder7. Please note, this process can take several weeks and we will keep you updated as we correspond with the manufacturer.
