This Ski Is A Staff Favorite:

This ski is a great all-mountain that still feels accessible to beginner/intermediate and advanced skiers alike. What surprised me was how easy it was to maneuver while still feeling solid and stable underfoot. I wasn’t charging down at high speed, but just cruising they handled super well and were very forgiving! This is a great approachable all mountain ski if you’re looking for a confidence-boosting ride.

The QST Lux 92 really surprised me. I knew it was a fun ski, and a really solid choice for an all-mountain ski, but I had no idea it would be as much freaking fun and versatile as it was. It had so much energy in the turns, and was so quick and lively in all of the conditions I took it on. I brought it onto the groomers and laid it on edge. It did that well. Then I took it into the bumps and was pleasantly surprised. Powder? Absolutely! And the final test - crud. Here is where I thought it would falter, as I am used to cutting through crud on stiff metal skis. And here is where I thought wrong. It cut through crud so well, and had so much energy in the turns that I actually found myself enjoying the crud and looking for more! So, long story short, don't be like me and underestimate this ski. This ski truly is one of the best all-mountain ones out there.

Our Take On The 2025 Salomon QST Lux 92:

The Salomon QST Lux 92 is the partner in crime we can rely on no matter what the mountain looks like that day. Deeper rocker lines in the tip and tail and tip taper make the ski more maneuverable, nimble, and ultimately more playful. Being on the narrower side of all-mountain at 92mm underfoot, the Lux 92 carves great and feels quick to respond. You’re not relegated to groomers with this lady though–a wide shovel and that deep tip rocker help you float on those deeper days when the snow comes out to play. So if you are a budding intermediate looking to step things up with a smooth, reliable, and forgiving ride, look no further. If you’re an advanced skier looking for a frontside ski that prioritizes fun, look no further. And if you just like having fun while going skiing, look no further!
