Salomon QST 94 Skis

This Ski Is A Staff Favorite:

Thes skis arent your ordinary 94mm underfoot carving ski. At 94mm underfoot, they deliver a perfect blend of carving power and all-mountain fun. With Salomon’s recent revamp of the QST line, the skis feel less directional and way more playful—perfect for skiers who love to explore every inch of the mountain. They absolutely rip on groomers and stay confident when you head off-trail. At 94mm, they’re also a dream in Colorado’s mixed mogul conditions, striking the ideal balance of agility and stability. Plus, with softer tips and tails, they make slarving turns smooth, effortless, and ridiculously fun.

The updated 2026 QST 94 takes a ski that was already one of the most versatile all-arounders and gives it just a little more backbone while maintaining all of the manuverability that the QST is known for. The new fiberglass and carbon construction gives the ski more stability and suspension while maintaining a laid-back, easy going feel that can serve a variety of riders. The rocker profile allows a newer skier to manuever with ease while providing more confidence in icy conditions than before. But the ceiling feels limitless on these- with advanced and expert skiers pushing these in tight spaces and whipping them through moguls. All in all, this is a ski that I would truly recommend to any skier for its versatility and perfect combo of stability vs. manuverability. Plus the new top sheets are a vibe!

This is a versatile, easy going ski that handles the whole mountain with confidence, but it really comes to life off piste. its shape and design makes pivoting through variable terrain and conditions feel intuitive and effortless. A great choice for a playful all mountain skier who wants a ski thats responsive without being too demanding.

Our Take On The 2026 Salomon QST 94:

The Salomon QST 94 makes big moves towards versatility and performance on hard snow. Wait! Isn't the QST already strong on harsh snow and versatile? You got it. But now, it's even better. The QST 94 is the strongest QST they've built yet. With a squared-off tail and more directional shape, the QST 94 holds a carve and finishes a turn stronger than ever. An upgraded fiberglass and carbon layup delivers even more torsional rigidity and stability than before. What does that all mean on snow? Even stronger turns, more supportive of higher edge angles, and greater suspension when on harsh snow. What's even better, Salomon kept the signature tip shape. Despite the stronger rear half of the ski, up front the ski feels intuitive and easy to turn. So compared to some other metal laminate or traditional skis in this category, the QST 94 has a distinct flavor. In bumps and trees, it feels highly maneuverable and accepting of a more casual stance compared to more aggressive rides. We think it levels up performance for those between-storm-spells, while keeping that QST sense of fun across the mountain.
