Topsheets: Very good condition with light scratches on the topsheet surface and minimal light scuffing along the topsheet edges.
Bases: Bases are in very good condition with light scratching and a few deeper (but still minor) scratches. These skis are freshly tuned, waxed, and ready for snow. Please note, bindings are mounted to fit an approximate boot sole length range of 292mm-320mm Bindings can be remounted upon request.

Read all of our Salomon QST 106 staff reviewsThe 2026 QST 106 bring a damper, more performative, all mountain machine. Bringing the basalt stringers from the very tip tip to tail in addition to a horse shoe shape cork layer allows for more effective shock absorption. While the QST's have notoriously been known for their maneuverability and playfulness, this new build stuck to it's roots but with more aggression for those of you who want to charge a little harder. This is a must get on for those all mountain skiers who search for the more fun and technical terrain but also love a good day of corduroy.
By: GeorgeBeing one of the fan favorites of the QST lineup, the 2023 model of the QST 106 is one burly, maneuverable, stomping mid-width freestyle ski. Those of you who are looking for a one quiver ski that can do it all (mostly), the 106 would be a great option. The QST lineup have notoriously struggled with carving due to its big turning radius and tendency to chatter at speed while on groomers. If you are an off piste skier and that is all you like, that is what the QST was made for.
By: GeorgeIf I had one word (ok, a few words), to describe the new QST 106's, they'd be intuitive, reliable, and a great balance of playful and powerful. This ski has the capability to pivot easily in trees and bumps, while still remaining stable enough to rip over chopped up, cruddy snow towards the end of the day. I am convinced that with those colorful bases, the skis want you to spend time in the air (to show them off, of course), and have a great landing platform. I'd recommend sizing up a bit with them, as they have a solid dose of rocker (I'm 5'7",140 lbs and liked skiing them better in the 173cm size). Overall, the new QST has something for everyone, and really nails the balance of being playful, but still damp and carvable.

Back for the 2021-22 season with just a slight graphics update, the Salomon QST 106 skis wear more faces than the many-faced god. Oh, sorry, did you somehow miss Game of Thrones? Let us explain: Salomon has re-done its flagship lineup of skis several times in the last few years. We liked each model they replaced, and each one was pretty dang versatile. But with each iteration of the QST, the skis just keep getting better. This newest iteration of the QST 106 hits the town with a sexy oil green topsheet along with several other changes. It is a go-to choice for pro athlete Cody Townsend in his pursuit of the 50 Classic Ski Descents of North America for a reason. There is more rocker than there used to be (just check out the aggressive tail rocker that reminds us of the QST Blank). There is also vibration-damping cork inserts in the tips plus a blend of carbon, basalt, flax, and fiberglass. The construction makes these the smoothest-skiing QSTs ever. The QST 106 loves hunting powder, but it doesn't punish you if you don't find it. Salomon reworked the taper, making it shorter, to allow for smoother skiing in mixed snow and better edge grip. These skis are super-easy to link up, whether you're sampling groomers or charging back bowls. We love the QST 106 as an easy-skiing daily driver in the West and a ski for powder-hunters out East.
