The popular Salomon Q105 returns for the winter of 2016 with the same construction but a new topsheet graphic. It's a versatile plank, as comfortable in powder-stuffed back bowls as it is ripping down the frontside of a mountain. Solid and stable, but still playful enough for the soft stuff, The Q105 is built in the traditional Salomon way with a full wood core, a pulse pad for dampening, and total edge reinforcement. The ski has edgy monocoque for extra edge hold underfoot without the extra weight of sidewall construction. Rocker tip and tail help the ski float in powder and release easily from turns, while a honeycomb-like tip structure reduces weight and chatter. Light, versatile, and playful--the Q105 is essentially the Rossignol Soul 7 without the hype.
