If you have dreams of hitting gates and making the tightest, most precise turns of your retired ski racer life, this will be the ski you're skiing on in those dreams. It's accessible enough for those of us who haven't cross-blocked a gate in more than a few years, while staying powerful and snappy enough to get you fired up to throw on the old spandex race suit. Be warned, this ski won't ski for you - it takes some power to flex into. That being said, if you're looking for something that performs at a high level of input, this ski will not disappoint.

Our Take On The 2023 Kastle RX12 SL:

Ex-racers and speed-lovers from Killington to Kitzbühel love the Kastle RX12. While the popular MX series gives skiers a carve-happy, do-everything on-piste experience, the RX12 delivers race-ready precision and quickness. The RX12 SL could probably be hammering gates on the pro circuit...except that Kastle added a few design flourishes to make it a first-class recreational race ski rather than a hulking World-Cup-or-bust speed plank. The RX12 SL has a shorter turn radius than the RX12 GS, intended for tighter, snappier turns (a la slalom racing) rather than longer GS style turns. Add that profile, with its serious need for speed, to Kastle's premium build and you get the last fast ski you'll ever need.
