The new Kastle Paragon 101 is a refreshing ski in 2024-2025. Why? Well, it's a year when lots of brands are focusing on making their flagship all-mountain/freeride skis more accessible and easier to ski. To be clear: We're just fine with that! But, someone had to take the other tact: Make a more aggressive charger. Kastle has done that with Paragon. The Paragon 101 calls back to the skier-favorite Kastle FX95HP, with two full sheets of metal and a world-class blend of strength, smoothness, and liveliness. Built on the freeridey ZX chassis, the Paragon 101 holds up in mixed snow, rails groomers, sticks to bump lines, and loves to open the throttle. Yet with all its power, it doesn't feel like a piece of lumber. Smooth in and out of carves and loose enough to stay practical in bumps and trees, the Paragon 101 could be the premiere all-mountain freeride ski around 100mm this year. Yeah, we're fans.
