Our Take On The 2027 K2 Mindbender 111:
The K2 Mindbender 111 ushers in a whole new level of performance for the big-mountain category. Using K2's latest Dark Matter tech, K2 inserts TPU weights into the tip and tail of the ski on both edges. That allows them to reduce the overall weight, without sacrificing any stability. On snow, the result is a ski that's remarkably drifty and easy to flick around that remains stable even as you're charging down long fall lines. We found this ski to absolutely come alive in soft snow, tracking well through funky snow types and making the most of the champagne snow when it does come around. If you're a skier who loves a surfy ride that doesn't ask you to lug around two by fours, but still remains stable when the going gets tough (or your preferred speed is Mach 10), the K2 Mindbender 111 should be on your list.
