One trend we noticed at this year's Outdoor Retailer? Ski companies are lovin' the "lightweight freeride" ski—those mid-fat pow-lovers that can rip resort off-piste or heli lines but are light enough to be touring options. The lineup of 2020 Icelantic skis has one of those: the new Natural 111. Oh, and as usual, they absolutely crush the topsheet game.

Icelantic rounds out its women's collection for next season by adding a new ski: the Riveter 85 and 95. It's more or less the love-child of the Maiden and the Oracle, with a thinner profile and more flex than the latter. Poplar in the core makes for strength on piste or in variable snow, making the Riveter the women's equivalent of the Pioneer.

For the most part, there are no bad days of skiing. There are good days. Great days. And, of course, best days.
When the universe conspires to give you a best day, it's normal to feel like you lack the words or megapixels to capture it. Good news—in 10 years, you'll remember it whether or not you told anyone or saved photos. One essential: the right skis for the job.

2020 Icelantic Nomad 115 Description:
The Nomad 115 turns its nose up at lift lines and groomers. Made for big mountain lines away from the piste and crowds with the playful feel you can expect from the Nomad line-up. Unchanged for 2020, except for a new badass topsheet, this ski hits the sweet spot for skiers who know where to go days after a storm. 115mm underfoot keeps this ski floating on fresh and left over powder, but can bust through the crud and chop when it's necessary. Tip and tail rocker allow the ski to swivel through trees and butter over pillow drops. The Nomad 115 is the perfect powder ski if you find yourself on the east coast, or a killer big mountain ski for the western mountains. And, if you need more convincing, the Nomad 115 is the ski of choice for Powder7 sponsored athlete Owen Leeper.
