Head launched their new freeride family, the Kore series, last year with three versions, the 93, 105, and 117. The skis were so popular, Head could hardly make enough of them. For 2019, they add the Kore 99, which mirrors the construction of the other models in the line. This means an incredibly modern design for a freeride ski. The Kore 99 is amazingly light for how stiff it is. Or stiff for how light it is. You get the point. Head's Graphene keeps the tips and tails super light with a low profile, resulting in a low swingweight without compromising bomber Head performance on hard snow. These skis eat crud, chop, and crust alive. But the KARUBA wood core and KOROYD thermally-welded honeycomb material gives them life and absorption. They pop, slash, and smear with the industry's best skis in this class while keeping the ride smooth. The torsional rigidity means these skis hold a death-grip edge. If you like skis that blend fun with high performance, these should probably be at the Kore of your quiver.
