Fischer Ranger 90 Skis

This Ski Is A Staff Favorite:

The Fischer Ranger 90 is a wonderfull all mountain ski. After taking these out for a day at Loveland ski area, I realized that these might be my favorite ski that I have tried all season. They were skinny enough underfoot to nicely carve on groomers and stiff enough to not chatter at high speeds. I took these on fresh tracks on the ridge at Loveland and through tight trees as well. They charged through deep fresh snow just fine and maneuvered througt tight trees really easyily. As well as being able to handle any terrain regardless of conditions, these skis felt so light underfoot. With all that said, if you want a jack of all trades in a ski, this is the all mountain ski for you.

Our Take On The 2025 Fischer Ranger 90:

A part of the revamped Ranger family, the new Fischer Ranger 90 features the most metal, and the least tip and tail taper out of the Ranger family. So while this Ranger is happiest slicing through moguls and laying down some good early morning turns on firm snow compared to its softer snow siblings, this still has the playful energy the new Ranger family all shares. Softer tips and tails add some flex when you need it, while a longer effective edge and more metal than the wider siblings gives you more stability for firm snow conditions and at higher speeds. A waist width of 90mm is plenty of platform for dipping off trail, while still prioritizing performance on groomed terrain. Fischer set out to make an "all-mountain specialist" with this ski, and they've clearly hit the mark. Similar skis: Salomon Stance 90, K2 Mindbender 89Ti.
