The Fischer Ranger 102 is the middle child of the Ranger ski collection. There are lots of stereotypes out there about middle children; always forgotten, left out, people pleasers, etc. The Fischer Ranger 102 may be the middle child of this family, but it refuses to ski like it. Out of the Ranger family, the 102 is likely the most versatile of the bunch, with a do-it-all waist width of just over 100mm. The Rangers come fitted with Shaped Ti, with different sizes of metal suited for different terrain. With more metal than its wider, soft snow siblings, and less than its frontside-oriented narrow siblings, the 102 has enough metal to give power and stability when you need it, without ever feeling too demanding. Significantly more playful than the previous Ranger 102 FR, quick turns and tight places feel particularly easy (and fun) to navigate. If you love to have one ski to do it all; be it soft snow, rip groomers, or negotiating variable snow when it has been a few days (or let's be honest, weeks) between storms, the new Fischer Ranger 102 should be on the top of your list.
