This Ski Is A Staff Favorite:

By: Sam B

Fischer’s entry into the modern day freeride field is an outstanding pair of skis that will boost the confidence of any big mountain shredder. This is a ski designed to charge with stability, giving the rider excellent power transfer into turns, while not sacrificing any playfulness. The rockered tip (with carbon) and tail allow for an easy transition from power turns on the groomers to exploring the soft stuff off trail.

Our Take On The 2022 Fischer Ranger 102 FR:

While the more directional Fischer Ranger Ti collection lays down the law, the Ranger 102 FR (short for "freeride") wants to break it. Back unchanged for 2021-2022, the Ranger 102 FR is a ski that blends new-age freeride playfulness with old-school backbone. This is a perfect option for aggressive all-mountain skiers who seek out side-hits, hunt powder everywhere, and slash as much as they carve. Fischer's Air Tec Ti and Aeroshape keep the ski lively and stout, while a playful rocker profile and tipped-up tails allow you to ski loose and free. If you value power and precision as much as fun and creativity, this ski should absolutely be on your radar. Similar skis: Blizzard Rustler 10, Nordica Enforcer 104 Free, Salomon Stance 102.
