To be honest, I wasn't expecting these skis to do much beyond hold a good edge on hardpack, but I was completely blown away by how versatile and fun they were through trees and bumps. I took them out yesterday because there wasn't any fresh snow in the forecast and I was expecting to be ripping laps on groomers, but when an unexpected storm came my way I ended up skiing in the trees and bumps from first chair to last. The Ripstick 94 was quick, nimble and light enough to throw around confidently. I was especially impressed with how easily I was able to make powerful turns while maneuvering the skis around obstacles like stumps and rocks. For any intermediate to advanced skier looking for a ski that they can use to rip up the whole mountain, I can confidently recommend the Ripstick 94.
If 'rip' is your middle name these skis will not let you down. Rip up the groomers, tear up the backside, crush the bumps...these skis can tackle the whole mountain with ease. The carving performance of these skis is surprisingly impeccable for a ski that is still soft enough to smear through the bumps. Push the speed limit, bust through crud, and release your inner ripper on the Ripstick 94W. Just don't forget your right from your left (you may regret it).
