Great for the Playful skiers who enjoy the ease of a lightweight freeride ski, the Elan Playmaker is an absolute bomber. The mid/wide waste width offers phenominal float while in powder but not too wide that you cant lay down an edge while getting from the steeps to the trees. The tubalite wood core and carbon rods gives this ski lots of poppy energy for the more creative and buttery skiers out there. Don't be deterred if you are a more intermediate skier though, this thing has a very forgiving ride and can be enjoyed by almost everyone. It would be silly not to try it.

Nothing embodies Elan's slogan, "always good times" better than the Playmaker series. The Elan Playmaker 111 is a fun-loving, big-mountain soft snow ski that prioritizes--you guessed it--play. This ski is built with the same philosophy of the narrower models, with deeper rocker and a wider platform for more play and float in soft snow conditions. The shape is the same as the narrower sibilings twin tip profile that maximizes swish and slash, and enjoys being skied with a more centered stance. If rotations and looking for new shapes off of features is your game, the Playmaker 111 helps you color outside the lines.
