I took the Pagoda Tour 106 in 184cm out for a spin the other day to do some quick morning touring here in the front range and boy are these a light set of skis. I had them paired with the ATK Raider's and that is a ski touring dream; these skis will really shine as a reliable option in the world of squirrelly AT skis; I would trust these as my ski of choice for mountaineering or for super long missions and hut trips, and it doesn't engender pure suffering when its strapped to my back.

Where this ski really shines is in some light powder. It felt a little chattery and hooky to me when I was skiing back down Jones Pass road on the hard pack created by snow-mos and cats, but when I was making powder turns up high, this ski floated well-beyond what I would expect from a 106 and made turning a cinch.

If you want a ski that is delightful going up, and just works well coming down, this is one to consider. Pairs well with a fine wine, a charcuterie board, and an UL binding.

These skis are too much fun! Super light and very forgiving, they can even make a beginner skier feel super comfortable on any tour. These paired with the Dynafit Rotation have me smiling ear to ear every time I take them out both due to ease of use and comfortability throughout the day.
