Our Take On The 2023 DPS Pagoda 112 RP:
The phrase "good enough" isn't part of the DPS vocabulary. Our favorite SLC-based think tank constantly reimagines what's possible in ski construction, and they've done it again. Introducing: Pagoda. DPS' newest construction replaces the esteemed Alchemist series with a handful of skis that are slightly lighter, slightly smoother, more damp, and more eco-friendly than their predecessors. The Pagoda 112 RP is the one you want for big-mountain adventuring and the endless search for pow. While Pagoda Piste skis hold down the frontside and Pagoda Tours explore the backcountry, Pagoda classic handles everything in the middle...plus a little of both. The classic RP shape makes these skis surfy and playful with deep rocker lines, long tip taper, and a short turn radius. Under the hood, a unique layup of carbon and wood and a one-piece sidewall finish blend stability and dampening with responsiveness, all while reducing waste from the build process by 30-40%. No excess glue. No urethane. Just durable, premium skis built in the USA. The Pagoda 112 RP can be skied as a do-it-all big-mountain resort ski, a powder-specific quiver rockstar, or a touring ski.
