Our Take On The 2027 Blizzard Firebird HRC:

The Blizzard Firebird HRC is ready to blast off, whenever and wherever you want. With a multi-radius sidecut and plenty of World Cup race technology, the HRC offers skiers the precision, stability, and energy you expect from a high performance carving but with the versatility to carve turns in a wider range of shapes than the SRC or WRC versions. On the inside, you’ll get Blizzard’s Trueblend Race wood core, which blends different densities of wood to create a balanced flex that’s stiff and supportive where you need it, but not so rigid and planky. This provides easier handling while increasing performance. But have no fear: this ski is juiced up with not one or two, but three sheets of titanal for torsional rigidity and dampening at high speeds. This version is paired with the Race Plate Pro, which offers the same performance as the World Cup Piston plate, but is 10% softer, requiring a little less work for those wanting race precision with everyday usability. If you don't like to be put in a box with your carving style, and rip tight slalom turns along with longer GS style arcs, the Blizzard Firebird HRC is for you.
