Our Take:
Freshly tweaked for the 2022-2023 season with just a slightly updated core profile, the Black Pearl 88 has been one of the most popular women's skis across all categories for the past several seasons. The Carbon Flipcore W.S.D., with its uni-directional carbon frame, has long impressed skiers with its ability to reduce weight without sacrificing performance. Blizzard builds on that technology with a few new additions, including TrueBlend technology, a reimagined woodcore design that uses wood stringers of different weights and stiffness in the areas of the ski that need them most. Heavier, stiffer Beech is used throughout the midsection of the ski to maximize power and stability, while lighter and softer poplar is used in the extremities of the ski, making turn initiation and engagement easier thanks to a more balanced flex pattern. The low weight, high-powered carver is now more appealing to an even wider range of skiers, if that is possible. Supremely quick edge-to-ege, with great stability, dampness, and torsional rigidity-- amplified by an extended mounting plate last season--makes the Black Pearl 88 an ideal all-mountain option for Eastern ladies, or for Western women who spend more of their time on trails. Topsheets: Good condition with scratching on the topsheet surface and light scuffing/nicking along the topsheet edges.
Bases: Bases are in very good condition with light scratching and a few deeper (but still minor) scratches. These skis are freshly tuned, waxed, and ready for snow.
Bindings will adjust to any boot size without a remount.
Please note: Skis have had base repairs.

How to Return an Item
- Option 1: Bring the item to our store in Golden, Colorado for a full refund
- Option 2: Use a printable FedEx return label provided by Powder7:
- You are responsible for handing the package off at your local FedEx Office
- We do not provide return labels for any carrier other than FedEx
Returning New Items
- Please notify us within 30 days of receiving the new item if you would like to return it. Buying a gift? Don’t worry: our return window is extended around the holidays.
- Items may only be returned in their original new condition, including all packaging, tags, and accessories.
- All items must be re-packaged within a shipping box to prevent damage in transit.
- Returned items that arrive used, damaged, marked, or without all original packaging, tags, etc., will be refused and sent back to you.
- Once a pair of new skis has been mounted, it cannot be returned.
- When the return is processed, you will receive a full refund for the returned product(s), minus $10 for the prepaid return shipping label provided by Powder7. Please note: any outbound shipping charges are not refunded.
- Once we receive the return, please allow 3-5 business days for that refund transaction to appear on your account statement.
Returning New Ski Boots
- Please notify us within 30 days of receiving your new boots if you would like to return them.
- New ski boots may only be returned in their original new condition, including all packaging, tags, and accessories
- Boots must be returned inside their original undamaged boot box and re-packaged within a shipping box to prevent damage in transit.
- Any returned boots that arrive used, damaged, marked, or without all original packaging and a shipping box, will be declined and sent back to you.
- We always recommend trying on your new boots indoors to make sure they fit before taking them outside.
- Once we receive your return, please allow 3-5 business days for that refund transaction to appear on your account statement.
Returning Demo Skis and Other Used Items
- Please notify us within 7 days of receiving the item that you would like to return it.
- Once you ski on a pair of demo skis they cannot be returned.
- When the return is processed, you will receive a full refund for the product(s) as well as a refund for standard ground shipping ($39.99 for used skis, $19.99 for used snowboards, etc.). Please note: expedited shipping costs or international shipping costs will not be refunded.
- Once we receive your return, please allow 3-5 business days for that refund transaction to appear on your account statement.
