Black Crows has done away with the venerable Vastus Freebird, upgrading and reimagining it as the new Mentis Freebird. The Mentis widens the footprint a touch to 80mm, while keeping these ultralight skis in the mountaineering or speed touring category. The updated profile still includes ample camber for strong edge hold and a little extra oomph on the skin track. For long tours, technical ascents, or if you just like moving fast and light in the mountains, the Black Crows Mentis Freebird won't let you down.
