We work with the best manufacturers in the winter sports industry, but occasionally defects do occur. If you think your product has a manufacturing defect please contact us. We'll work with the manufacturer to determine if their warranty covers the damage. Determining if the issue is a manufacturing defect is solely up to the manufacturer, not Powder7. By: MattI love getting on skis that feel unique, because these days more and more of them, while being awesome, kind of feel the same. The Justis is definitely one of the more unique feeling skis out there. A 100mm ski with metal makes you think of the Enforcer, yet the Black Crows name makes you think fun and freeride-y. The Justis is both. It feels stable and lively with that metal, but there's a ton of rocker under your feet, making it one of the driftiest metal skis I've ever been on. If you like to pivot and smear, don't shy away just because of the metal...that in fact makes this ski more versatile than lots of competitors. I had a blast on the Justis.Our Take:
French things we love: baguette, croissants, Mont Blanc, Coco Chanel, champagne, Candide Thovex, Bordeaux...Black Crows. Since 2006, the Chamonix-based ski company has built one of the most vivacious brands in the outdoor industry. Why? The skis look great. They ski great. And they come with a sense of freedom and independence that appeals to skiers' souls. The Black Crows Justis infuses that fun-loving mountain spirit into a design that checks some of the most important boxes for a modern all-mountain ski. At 100mm underfoot, it is Black Crows' take on the highly successful Nordica Enforcer. With two sheets of H-shaped titanal, the Justis is stiff and strong underfoot. In front and behind your bindings, it packs power where you need it while saving some weight and adding flex to give the skis playfulness and versatility. The biggest difference between the Justis and similar skis around 100mm underfoot, like the Enforcer, is its rocker profile. Deep rocker lines give the Justis a pivoty feel and allow you to smear and slash until your heart flutters. When you need to lay down trenches and beat buddies to the bottom, though, low camber and a directional shape help you fly like a...crow? We recommend the Justis to anyone who enjoyed either of the two skis it replaces, the Navis and the Daemon, or anyone new to the Black Crows brand who likes the sound of a 100mm-waisted metal ski with a whole lot of French flair. Topsheets: Excellent condition with light superficial scratches on the topsheet surface and faint scuffing along the topsheet edges from being used approximately 10 days.
Bases: Bases are in good condition with scratching and minimal deeper scratches, as well as a few small scrapes that have been refilled with ptex. These skis are freshly tuned, waxed, and ready for snow, although some scratches are still visible. Please note, bindings are mounted to fit an approximate boot sole length range of 290mm-318mm Bindings can be remounted upon request.
