    Our Take On The 2025 Armada Locator 96:

    The Armada Locator 96 comes charging into the backcountry scene to redefine what versatile, lightweight touring specific ski can do. Replacing the more hybrid style Tracer collection, the Locator ups the ante on the touring game with a lighter construction, while still holding on to that killer downhill performance. A lightweight Caruba core maintains a very trim 1350 grams per ski, but the Locator is no noodle with extra carbon reinforcements to keep things glued to the snow when the conditions get a little dicey. Ideal for someone looking for an ultra versatile backcountry kit that’s on the lighter side of things. The Locator 96 floats pretty darn well in the soft stuff, while being quick to bite into the snow if there’s a bit more refrozen sastrugi out there than you expected.
