The Armada Antimatter 108 is the latest evolution of Armada's metal laminate category. Building off of the old Declivity 108 chassis, the Antimatter 108 gets a fresh metal layer to be more compliant at slower speeds, while still being just as planted and consistent when charging through hard snow. Armada uses their "speedmetal" design to give you power where you need it and keep it loose where you don't. The metal is tapered at the tip and tail, transitioning to full width toward the middle of the ski, then tapering back down right underfoot. That gives you power and torsional rigidity right where you need it most, while keeping the ends pressable and the whole ski from feeling planky. For a big-mountain ski that charges through steeps and deeps just as well as it finds reliable edge hold on firm snow, the Armada Antimatter 108 is a rare breed.
