Our Take:
For backcountry tele aficionados, the 22 Designs Lynx is a NTN tech-toe light touring binding. It features composite flex plates, adjustable preload and flex, and a lightweight yet durable design. Built in the USA with machined aluminum parts, an easy-to-switch ski/walk mode, and lightweight springs with plenty of travel, it’s the new standard in light touring for telemark bindings. Recommended for setups that will spend at least 80-90% of their time in the backcountry. The tech-toe design allows touring without any lifted binding weight, so skiers can keep up with even their spandex-clad AT brethren. But since it’s a 22 Designs binding, skiers get the durability they expect and the reward of smooth, powerful tele turns on the way down. One touch puts the binding into free pivot mode. Once at the top, ski mode is also easily pole activated, peel skins and drop in!
NTN compatible in two sizes: Size break for Scarpa and Crispi boots is 26.0/26.5; for Scott/Garmont boots, the break is between 25.5 and 26.0.
If you have a Scarpa TX Pro 2.0 boot, the Lynx may need a new main plate in order to not interefere with the boot, please call to ask for details, or visit 22 Design's webiste to obtain a new main plate for the Lynx.

How to Return an Item
- Option 1: Bring the item to our store in Golden, Colorado for a full refund
- Option 2: Use a printable FedEx return label provided by Powder7:
- You are responsible for handing the package off at your local FedEx Office
- We do not provide return labels for any carrier other than FedEx
Returning New Items
- Please notify us within 30 days of receiving the new item if you would like to return it. Buying a gift? Don’t worry: our return window is extended around the holidays.
- Items may only be returned in their original new condition, including all packaging, tags, and accessories.
- All items must be re-packaged within a shipping box to prevent damage in transit.
- Returned items that arrive used, damaged, marked, or without all original packaging, tags, etc., will be refused and sent back to you.
- Once a pair of new skis has been mounted, it cannot be returned.
- When the return is processed, you will receive a full refund for the returned product(s), minus $10 for the prepaid return shipping label provided by Powder7. Please note: any outbound shipping charges are not refunded.
- Once we receive the return, please allow 3-5 business days for that refund transaction to appear on your account statement.
Returning New Ski Boots
- Please notify us within 30 days of receiving your new boots if you would like to return them.
- New ski boots may only be returned in their original new condition, including all packaging, tags, and accessories
- Boots must be returned inside their original undamaged boot box and re-packaged within a shipping box to prevent damage in transit.
- Any returned boots that arrive used, damaged, marked, or without all original packaging and a shipping box, will be declined and sent back to you.
- We always recommend trying on your new boots indoors to make sure they fit before taking them outside.
- Once we receive your return, please allow 3-5 business days for that refund transaction to appear on your account statement.
Returning Demo Skis and Other Used Items
- Please notify us within 7 days of receiving the item that you would like to return it.
- Once you ski on a pair of demo skis they cannot be returned.
- When the return is processed, you will receive a full refund for the product(s) as well as a refund for standard ground shipping ($39.99 for used skis, $19.99 for used snowboards, etc.). Please note: expedited shipping costs or international shipping costs will not be refunded.
- Once we receive your return, please allow 3-5 business days for that refund transaction to appear on your account statement.
Special Notes for our Canadian & International Customers
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer
- We're happy to send extra pictures or talk with you about products in detail before we ship them to ensure you're purchasing a product that is best for you
- All original shipping costs are non-refundable for international shipments/returns

Manufacturing Defects
We work with the best manufacturers in the winter sports industry, but occasionally defects do occur. If you think your product has a manufacturing defect please contact us. We'll work with the manufacturer to determine if their warranty covers the damage. Determining if the issue is a manufacturing defect is solely up to the manufacturer, not Powder7. Please note, this process can take several weeks and we will keep you updated as we correspond with the manufacturer.
