While previewing next year’s gear is an absolute treat, it does sometimes mean that we’re not properly spotlighting the skis that have been doing the heavy lifting. The familiar favorites! Here’s a handpicked list of 2026 skis that are being updated for 2027. Which means (you guessed it) they’re now on sale. Get ’em while they’re hot!

Year-in and year-out, it’s one of our top-selling carving skis. And probably our staff’s favorite. The Montero AX gets new graphics and a light construction update next year.
Volkl M7 Mantra // From $588.93
The seventh-generation Mantra hasn’t disappointed. For 2026-2027, it retains the same construction and gets a fresh paint job. Another year, another top-shelf ski.
Rossignol Sender Soul 102 // From $599.93
One of the most reliable all-mountain skis on the market the last couple seasons. Our staffers love it, and our customers love it. New paint job and shorter name (Soul 102) next year. But otherwise: same ski.
Dynastar M Free 100 // From $536.95
The M Free 100 sneakily has become a top choice around 100mm underfoot. Playful and also chargey. New art, with major color-pop next year.
Elan Ripstick 96 // From $599.93
Light, lively, and capable across the mountain. Ripsticks are neither the most playful nor the most demanding skis on the mountain. That makes them a go-to for a wide range of skiers. Light graphics update for next season.
Atomic Bent 100 // From $519.93
A customer favorite! The Bent 100 gets new Chris Benchetler artwork each year. Next year: That’s the only update. Playful, lightweight, and capable. They’re easy skis to get along with.
Blizzard Black Pearl 88 // From $599.93
THE Black Peal. Possibly the most popular women’s ski of all time. She gets new artwork for 2026-2027, but no other changes. Hint: We’ve also got a few pairs of 2024s kicking around the warehouse…
Stockli Nela 88 // From $1,048.93
One of the cleanest-looking and best skiing women’s skis ever made. It rivals the Black Pearl big time and blows our staffers away every time. Nela gets some light construction and art updates next year.
Salomon QST 100 (Iceberg) // From $559.93
Salomon went full-court-press with QSTs last year. There are two colors for each main-line model. That means, they’re updating one color but not the other for next year. And thaaaat means that the color that’s going away goes on sale. Go wider with the QST 106.
Fischer Ranger 102 LTD // $849
OK, a bit of a wild card here. Fischer made these Limited Edition Ranger 102s in a collab with Ford, and guess who’s the only retailer to be selling them. Nailed it!
Faction Prodigy 2 Capsule // From $543.94
Prodigious! Just about all of Faction’s skis are getting fresh art for next year, but we wanted to call out arguably their most fun ski here. The Prodigy 2 with special edition artwork just…hits.
Volkl Mantra 88 // From $719.93
One of the narrower Mantras, formerly of Kendo name and fame. The 88 will also get new graphics for next season. It’s strong, but not too strong. Finely tuned for day-to-day all-mountain ripping.
Salomon QST 94 (Iced Aqua) // From $559.93
Narrower QST, same deal. One of the two graphics carries forward into next year; the other gets replaced. So get Iced Aqua while you can! Oh yeah…the 94 absolutely shreds.
Atomic Maven 103 CTI // From $379.93
Around here, it seems like every time we introduce someone to the Maven, they’re blown away. So it’s a sneaky staff favorite, in all waist-widths. And if ya don’t know, now ya know, Mrs. President.
