Yesterday, I found my Strava post from the first time I skied the Stockli Nela 96, which wa titled "call me a Stockli girl because I'm in love with the Nela 96." That was over a year ago, and it still rings true. It is confidence inspiring on firm snow, supportive through bumps, and smooth like every Stockli should be. The new topsheets only made me fall more in love with them (pink ski gang!). I'm 5'7", 125 lbs without gear, and I have loved the 164cm. I usually ski a ski closer to 170cm, but it has a long effective edge compared to skis with more rocker and is impressively stable in its construction. I haven't felt the need to go longer yet, and it's nice to have a ski a little shorter for tighter terrain (think moguls or packed early season groomers). And because everyone asks, yes, if it's in your budget, it's worth the price tag!

Our Take On The 2026 Stockli Nela 96:
The Stockli Nela 96 is smooth, like Merlot, Brie, and Norah Jones melodies. And like all of those things, once you have a little bit of the Nela 96, you want more. The 96 is the widest ski in the line and the best match for intermediate through expert skiers who ski like mom cooks: a little bit of this and a little bit of that.
