Stockli Laser WRT Pro Skis

This Ski Is A Staff Favorite:

Powder7 Staff Pick Mason F

I'm about as nervous to review the Stockli Laser WRT Pro as I was to ski it. Staring at this computer screen I feel outmatched, like I'm in the presence of giants, and if you've reached this corner of the internet I feel like you probably know more than me about world-class carving. That said, as Powder7's self-proclaimed Stockli nerd I saw the WRT Pro at a demo day and simply had to face my fears.
This ski, the one day I had the honor and privilege of skiing it, whispered in my ear: "Mason, you've got this. I'll do the hard work." Honestly, I wish the WRT Pro had thumbs so it could type this review for me. But I'll try my best.
The first thing I noticed at the top of the lift was the firm grip of the Solid Metal Edge and Full Edge Contact technologies, two must-haves when you're carving at world-class speeds. I was skiing with a group, and my only words to them at the top of the run were "see ya." See them I did, at the bottom of the run, after they ate my dust. The ski took over for me, bounced from edge to edge with unreal energy thanks to Stockli's Carbon Power Turn technology when I did my best to lay my elbows on the piste. It also gently told me that I was on the wrong mountain to be skiing a WRT, which was okay. I was skiing on Stockli's best. I felt like I was renting a Formula 1 car to cruise down the Las Vegas Strip. This ski deserves the freshest groomed snow on earth, with thousands of feet of vert to be skied uninterrupted. Still a pretty cool experience.  My takeaway is this: Stockli truly brought world-class ski quality to the public. And they made it possible to carve like a professional athlete with just a little bit of practice. I don't know how they did it, but this ski made me this Colorado big-mountain skier understand the appeal of on-piste ripping. If you want the best of the best, look no further.

Our Take On The 2025 Stockli Laser WRT Pro:

Stockli is synonymous with racing performance, and the new Stockli Laser WRT Pro brings true racing performance to the masses. The WRT Pro builds on the original, racing-inspired Laser WRT with additional features to give you even more power to push harder and go faster. Thicker and stiffer racing side walls provide better power transfer and suspension when hitting those big speeds. The race base provides extra smooth and consistent handling no matter the snow conditions beneath you and gives you just that extra little bit of speed to hit that turn even quicker. A special edition, extra durable titanal top sheet saves weight by printing the top sheet design onto the ski, rather than adding an extra layer. For the 24/25 season, Stockli tweaked the sidecut and sizing to be more precise and refined through turns. If you like to carve hard, with a platform that feels ultra damp and stable, the Laser WRT Pro will deliver. Why settle for less?
