It's "super" for a reason. The Rossignol Super Black Ops is one of the most fun skis out there. And no, not just because of the graphic. It's a wickedly smooth and predictable ski, on a chassis that's much more playful than you expect. The stiff construction rides smoothly through chop and crud and provides excellent power transmission when you're tilting the ski over on edge. But then, you've got a playful, twin tip style shape that makes it endlessly interesting to pivot and drift in bumps and tight terrain. Slash? Oh yes. Ride switch? No problem. It's a playful ski in a smooth riding construction, making all-mountain conditions beckon to be skied up. Rossignol adds their Damp Tech as well, which acts as suspension and absorbs vibrations and inconsistencies in variable snow. To top it all off, a layer Diagofiber (which is a pretty gnarly sounding name) adds responsiveness and energy. This ski has a ton of pop when transitioning between turns and hitting little drops or side hits. Playful when you want it, and can charge when you need it to, the Super Black Ops is indeed Super.
