This Ski Is A Staff Favorite:

I did my first demo ski day last week after a few years of not skiing. I struggled a bit to get back into the groove with a couple different pairs of skis, but then I tried the 2025 Rossignol Rallybird 102. I had so much fun on them that I had to take them on some extra runs! They were easy to maneuver yet still felt stable and damp, providing the smoothest ride of the day. It gave me so much confidence going into this ski season and I can't wait to get back out there. I think I may have found my perfect match!

The day I skied the Rossignol Rallybird Soul 102 in a 164 length was the day Rossignol got handprints on a Hollywood Star in my mind. I grew up skiing too-long-for-me Rossi's because I loved how they felt on the groomers, on the bumps and in the trees. It didn't matter how heavy and long they were I just felt like it was stoke in a ski. The Rallybird Souls are everything these skis were minus the length and weight. Easy to maneuver, but not too heavy. Excellent dampening with metal underfoot and rubber in the tips makes for an excellent combination. Still had a nice surfy feel but I was able to bust through chop and carve some nice lines on those chunky choppy runs and smooth groomers. I would love this ski as a daily driver and it certainly shines as a 100+ all-mountain ski that won't take everything out of you. Definitely red carpet ready in my eyes!

Our Take On The 2025 Rossignol Rallybird Soul 102:

New for this season, the Rossignol Rallybird Soul 102 shakes up the women's all-mountain ski market. Smooth riding, damp and plush on choppy snow, and with a versatile shape and flex, the Rallybird appeals to a wide range of lady skiers. Rossignol set out to bring back the flavor of the popular legend: the Soul 7. Instead of rehashing an old favorite, they took the versatile and smooth riding shape, blending it with modern construction technologies we love so much. The refined AirTec keeps the swing weight low for easy turn initiation and quick reactions in tight terrain. A partial sheet of metal underfoot gives power and support where you need it, but doesn't feel heavy or sluggish. The dampening agents and other cocktail ingredients provide a supremely planted ride that we've come to expect from Rossi. The shape is modern, with a nice tip and tail taper, solid rocker up front, and a healthy splash in the rear. It's easy to release in bumps and trees but holds an edge surprisingly well for its size and shape. It's easy to flex into and engage but doesn't have a speed limit. It's damp and planted but offers the perfect amount of pop and snap when you come out of a turn. We ski a lot of skis, and it's not often a single ski gives all of us a big grin while riding it.
