This Ski Is A Staff Favorite:

The Nordica Enforcer has been a great, uber-popular ski for as long as I've been a ski-industry wannabee. And while I've always regarded it as such, it's just not a ski I would ride regularly. So I said WHOA when I heard about the more freeride oriented 104 free version. After skiing it, I'm pretty psyched. That classic build with two sheets of metal gives the ski big-mountain backbone for charging, just like the OG Enforcer has. But with balsa in the core and an extra dose of rocker, all of a sudden we have an Enforcer that will be crazy popular AND a ski I want to be on. It can go all speeds, make all the turns you want, and it's got that vibey mix of playfulness with bomberness.

During the dawn of lightweight freeride skis, the Enforcer 104 Free is decidedly not that. It's a slightly lighter freeride ski with cajones. Yeehaw!

2020 Nordica Enforcer 104 Free Ski Review

For 2020, Nordica beefs up its bestselling Enforcer lineup. Enter the Nordica Enforcer 104 Free. Nordica's Enforcer 100 has been one of the industry's most popular skis—and a favorite of Powder7 customers—for several years. A mainstay at magazine ski tests, it's received as much universal praise as any ski in the industry. So this winter when the company showed off some new models at Outdoor Retailer in Denver, the booth was buzzing, especially around the Nordica Enforcer 104 Free. In particular, the 104 Free caught my eye for a couple reasons. One, it's so close in waist width to the classic Enforcer 100 that it must be significantly different...right? And two: although it's an obvious marketing flourish, the addition of "Free" to the monikers for the widest Enforcers ... Continue Reading

2020 Nordica Skis and Boots Preview

Enforcer Takeover When you have one of the industry's bestselling and most popular skis in your pocket, why switch things up? That's been Nordica's M.O. for a few years now. And guess what? It still is. Only now, the 2020 Nordica skis lineup features even more Enforcers, including a slightly rebuilt freeride-oriented version. Read our review of the all-new 2020 Nordica Enforcer 104 Free In addition to splitting the Enforcer into two lines with two fresh models, Nordica removes the Navigator 90 and retains the 80 and 85 as more on-piste oriented skis with many Enforcer properties. The Highlights Enforcer 104 Free: Balsa in the core and a carbon layup to lighten the skis up plus more tipped tails and longer rocker. That addition of balsa matches the Santa Anas ... 2020 Nordica Enforcer 104 Free Description:

The new Nordica Enforcer 104 Free is already earning accolades from ski testers, and is sure to be one of the best skis of the 2019/2020 season. This ski builds on the radically successful lineage of the Enforcer line, but adds a more heavily rockered tail to throw some more playfulness into the equation. Think of it as a slimmer Enforcer 110, not a sligtly wider Enforcer 100. It features a Balsa core with a carbon layup to keep the weight low, but it is still an Energy 2 Titanium Nordica ski, so stability remains. It is equally happy ripping groomers as it is launching windlips in the backcountry. The Enforcer 104 Free knows that arriving late to an event is a sure fire way to garner attention. It may be the late arrival, but it is already the coolest kid at the party.
