Nordica Enforcer 104 Free Skis

This Ski Is A Staff Favorite:

The Enforcer 104 Free takes the already famous Enforcer line and brings a freeride oriented shape and freeride profile to another waist width. It takes the shape of its big brothers the 110 Free and 115 Free and delivers it as an all mountain freeride ski. In my eyes, it is the perfect everyday Colorado ski for that all mountain charger who is looking for more of a playful ski versus the traditional Enforcer. The ski handles well in all types of terrain and the two sheets of metal in the core make it stable at all speeds and coming off any drops and hits. The rockered tip makes you float through fresh snow while also giving you great control on those firmer days. Adding to that rocker the 104 mm underfoot gives you enough float in fresh but it is narrow enough to handle all that is thrown its way. This ski is perfect for that person who enjoys a little bit of wider ski that can really do it all.

These have become one of my skis of choice. Being 104 at the waist, I feel like these are a little bit more versatile as a one ski quiver. I got on these skis after a long day of skiing with dead quads, but after one turn, I felt like I had Red Bull ejected straight into the legs. These are super fun skis that find the balance of playfulness and groomer carving that I desire.

The Nordica Enforcer has been a great, uber-popular ski for as long as I've been a ski-industry wannabee. And while I've always regarded it as such, it's just not a ski I would ride regularly. So I said WHOA when I heard about the more freeride oriented 104 free version. After skiing it, I'm pretty psyched. That classic build with two sheets of metal gives the ski big-mountain backbone for charging, just like the OG Enforcer has. But with balsa in the core and an extra dose of rocker, all of a sudden we have an Enforcer that will be crazy popular AND a ski I want to be on. It can go all speeds, make all the turns you want, and it's got that vibey mix of playfulness with bomberness.

During the dawn of lightweight freeride skis, the Enforcer 104 Free is decidedly not that. It's a slightly lighter freeride ski with cajones. Yeehaw!

Our Take On The 2024 Nordica Enforcer 104 Free:

Improving on the killer construction of the regular Nordica Enforcer, but with a few tweaks for a more playful, freeride style, the Nordica Enforcer 104 Free has been a shop favorite big-mountain ski since it charged on to the scene a few years ago. Nordica gave the ski deeper rocker in both the tip and tail, making the ski more maneuverable and slashy. With a more progressive mount point, the 104 Free feels particularly easy to pivot in tight terrain. Despite the playful shape, that classic Enforcer construction of double metal plus carbon lets you cruise through chopped up powder and variable snow all day long. And if you do encounter that oh-so-sought-after powder, the 104 Free floats and surfs with the best of them. If you are a playful skier looking for a ski with strong suspension, you may have just found your match.
