The 12 Skis of Christmas—and Every Other Ski Day

We're not spoiled. Powder7 staffers just try out current and popular skis every week, embark on company powder missions, crush sunny groomers en masse, and talk about skis for a living. We also go to an industry demo event every November at Loveland Ski Area to stay on top of our craft. Ok, maybe we are spoiled. 2019 Liberty Helix 98 Description:

The Helix is back - it took a hiatus. Who knows, maybe it went to Thailand, maybe Sri Lanka, either way it's back and that hiatus did it some good. Sporting a more versatile mid section at 98mm, the Helix is a one quiver star. Its twin tip shape makes freeride and freestyle skiing a breeze. Cruise down mogul runs and perfectly land that 180 at the bottom, skiing away backwards with your tall tee billowing out in front of you and your sun hat blocking you from all the haters. And, when your park friends stay home on a powder day because their skinny sticks can't hang, you'll be out there snapping pics of your face shots for the Instagram. The Helix's speedcore is made from bamboo and poplar, making it strong yet playful, burley yet lively, you get the point. The Helix 98 is quite possibly the most versatile ski ever.
