Our Take On The 2026 Kastle Obsidian 92:
A part of the new women's line from Kastle, the all-new Kastle Obsidian 92 serves up all-mountain performance in a versatile and fun riding package. Unlike other skis in this waist class, the Obsidian 92 has a fully wood core that is softer flexing, lively, and smooth riding. Blending that with a versatile shape that holds a carve well and keeps turn initiations quick and responsive, this is a ski that can truly go anywhere at any time. Ample tip rocker and taper get you on top of soft snow quickly, while the "narrower-end-of-all-mountain" waist is quick to roll over on edge and navigates trails like a seasoned carver. Powder7 staffers are huge fans of 92mm waists for all-mountain skiing in the West for finding float on storm days when we get them, without being so wide and bulky for everyday skiing. We think plenty of lady shredders will get along with Kastle Obsidian 92, from stoked intermediates to experts who like a quick, agile, and not-so-rigid flex. Not to mention, it looks like an LBD.
