    K2 has been spending a lot of time lately revamping their freeride ski line and it undoubtedly shows in the 106C Alliance. The 106C Alliance is one of the most adaptable 100mm+ underfoot women's skis that I have been on this year. The Carbon Spectral Braid is weaved tighter underfoot and becomes more laxed towards the tip and tail. This makes the ski hold steady on groomed trails, while still being flexible enough to drift you through tight and variable bumps. This ski really shines when Ullr brings us the goods, the 106C Alliance excels in soft snow and is perfectly responsive whether it's fresh lines or chopped up powder. This ski is great for intermediate and advanced skiers looking for an all mountain freeride ski out West.

    The Mindbender 106C Alliance packs our favorite traits in wide all-mountain powder skis into one tasty looking model. Ample tip taper and rocker, along with a light and energetic Aspen Veneer core, make the skis ultra fun and maneuverable for freeride skiing and powder hunting. Carbon Spectral Braid packs variable-angle carbon fiber into the skis, allowing for a versatile flex pattern that provides stability on hard snow and responsiveness in the soft stuff. For Western freeride skiers or powder chasers out East, we love the 106C Alliance as a daily driver. Badass ladies unite!
