Our Take On The 2026 Icelantic Natural 101:
The Icelantic Natural 101 is their do-it-all touring ski. Icelantic knows that touring skis don't need to be too complex. A lightweight construction, a versatile shape and size, and durable materials all add up to a backcountry ski that will get you places. We love the 101mm waist width for alpine touring -- enough platform for skiing soft snow in low-angle terrain and nimble enough to navigate tight trees or when conditions are windscoured and you're dodging sastrugi like it's lava. These skis are also updated for 25/26, with a new carbon stringer "X" Icelantic pours a lot of love into these skis and builds them with durability and longevity at the forefront. You don't have to let the early-season tree stumps and rocks hidden under a blanket of fresh snow keep you away from getting out there. The lightweight construction is feathery on the uphill, but the directional shape gives you extra contact length with the snow to keep the ride predictable and smooth. Tip rocker ensures you can manuver in and out of tight, ungladed trees. The Natural 101 is -- ahem -- a natural fit for the backcountry skier looking to do a little of everything.
