Well you did it...You asked for a touring ski that is light enough to drag up a 14er, but fun enough to want to ski, well, always. And we'll be darned if Icelantic didn't listen and go and make just that. Icelantic has made the Maiden Lite even lighter it's inbounds counterpart with a Paulownia core. The almost symmetrical profile makes for a playful ride, so your skiing style doesn't have to take a backseat in the backcountry. Powder7 staffers recommend mounting with a Salomon Shift, Marker Kingpin or any Dynafit tech binding to keep the setup light. It doesn't matter if you are the occasional backcountry skier, or a full on enthusiast, the Maiden 101 Lite is stealing hearts and making turns all over the country.
