As much as we love freeride skis and wide powder planks, we can't deny we have a soft spot for ripping turns on skinnier sticks. We love laying train tracks down on groomed snow and finding quick bump lines that make our legs turn to jelly. As an ode to the frontside, Powder7 presents our own custom, Folsom Spar 88. The Spar 88 is a frontside carving machine with plenty of capability to explore the rest of the mountain. We went with a directional rocker profile – moderate tip rocker combined with just a flair of tail rocker – to keep things forgiving in tight bump runs or varied snow conditions. A medium-stiff flex throughout ensures you have power and stability to feel confident skiing the way you want on the gnarliest of icy morning crust. But a light swing weight, short turn radius, and forgiving shape keep this ski from demanding 100% performance from its driver. With slick custom graphics from Sarah Beabout, we’re psyched to share the frontside ski of our dreams.
