An ultra-lightweight build that was designed to ski as hard as you want, the Transalp 98 CTI blends inspiration from their skimo models and their freeride Ranger series. The Transalp 98 CTI borrows the Shaped Ti metal design from the Rangers, giving you power and stability underfoot and at critical points in the ski. The hyper-thin partial sheet of metal saves weight while providing you the capability to ski with confidence. This makes all the difference when navigating choppy and variable conditions you might find in the backcountry (no matter how hard you try to find the powder). Freeride rocker and progressive design encourage float and maneuverability when the deep stuff does show up and for navigating lines that might make you pucker up. With the skis hitting around 3000 grams for the pair, you'll have more energy to keep skiing and take just one more lap, with a pair of skis you want to ski with.
