The Ranger 99 Ti is probably the most versatile ski in the Fischer lineup, and it comes back unchanged for 2021-2022 except for a topsheet upgrade. Your first impression of skiing the Ranger 99 Ti will probably go something like this: "Holy crap, these skis are smooth and damp." Most people who love skiing the Rangers do so because they love feeling locked to the snow surface and indestructible. It's an empowering feeling as gravity is pulling you faster and faster down an icy mountain. But where the Ranger 99 Ti shines is not just steep terrain and mixed snow. These skis navigate tight places and float powder better than previous versions. Lightweight carbon in the tips makes them easy to whip around in bumps, chutes, and trees, and it also keeps them planing on top of piled-up snow. If you don't subscribe to all the tenets of the wide ski revolution, and if you don't demand Euro-style skinnies, the Ranger 99 Ti is ready to be the only ski you need.
