This Ski Is A Staff Favorite:
I skied this at the industry demo at Loveland and was immediately impressed with the stability on this playful ski. In early season conditions the Prodigy 2.0 more than held its own against front side all-mountain rippers like the Black Crows Camox or Rossignol Experience. If you are looking for a more playful yet stable all-mountain ski under 100mm, it is tough to beat the Faction Prodigy 2.0! If you are thinking about this ski, jump on it before I buy it first!

Highlights from the 2019 Faction skis lineup:
Along with some flashy colors schemes, Faction rolls out a Prodigy line for 2019 that features more unified construction. The company basically took the tech from last year's Prodigy 4.0 and pumped it into the narrower models in the series.
Lighter, with flax. New rocker profile, shape, and flex. At waist widths of 90, 96, 104, and 112, the Prodigy line offers burly, smooth all-mountain/big-mountain performance—a nice midpoint between the CT line and Dictators—at lower price points than the Candides.
You've now got yet another option for skiing like Candide Thovex: the CT 5.0. Offered in a 183cm length, it's a 122mm-waisted, twin-tip powder ski with a 25-meter turn radius that looks ultra ... Continue Reading
2020 Faction Prodigy 2.0 Description:
For the most part, Faction gave the Prodigy series new flashy topsheets for 2020. The 2.0 is the version that saw structural changes, with its girth widening from 96mm underfoot to an even more versatile 98mm. The Prodigy's poplar core and directional twin tip profile make it a top choice for skiers who ski loose and seek out fun airs, smeared and slashed turns, and soft snow. Still, with a mid-stiff flex pattern, these are no jib noodles. They handle groomers as well as just about any ski in this category. As such, they are excellent skis for intermediates who look to progress in the freeride or western all-mountain direction or for advanced skiers simply looking to have a blast with buds.
