Our Take On The 2027 Elan Wingman 86 Ti:

The Elan Wingman 86 Ti is an all-mountain piste ski that delivers high-end performance for all conditions around the mountain. Optimized for carving with a traditional shape and core construction, the Wingman holds a rock-solid edge without having to provide so much input into the ski. But, Elan knows you don't want to be locked into one turn shape or one condition type. So they built this ski with their left and right, asymmetric Amphibio rocker profile. With more rocker on your outside edge and longer camber lines on the inside edge, you get smoother turn initiation and better maneuverability if you want to skid some turns or explore off-piste terrain. At the same time, the solid core construction and elongated camber lines help you carve up a storm on groomed terrain for everyday skiing. We find this rocker profile makes for an incredibly nimble ride, especially to some carving skis that feel much more committed on edge.
