Blizzard's most audacious ski, the Spur, has been a true shapeshifter over the past few years. Originally a 124mm waisted, Cochise-esque figure that was built to charge deep and steep lines with no speed limit, the Spur then shifted to a unique, asymmetrical design that became lighter, softer, and a bit less interested in Mach1 speeds. Throughout those changes, though, one thing remained true: if you wanted to ski the Spur, you better like your skis long as it was only ever available in 189cm and 192cm lengths. Until now. With a redesign for the 2020-21 season thanks to a collaboration with CMH Heli-skiing, the all new Blizzard Spur gets a retro topsheet and is now offered in sizes all the way down to 159cm. True to its roots, the Spur keeps it rocker-flat-rocker design to keep it unsinkable in the deep stuff, but is now more surfy and playful than ever. Still designed with skiing the big open faces of the Chugach range in mind, the Spur is ideal for those seeking a reliable, surfy ski for deep snow in all types of terrain.
