    Our Take On The 2024 Black Crows Vertis:

    While the Chamonix-based ski designers at Black Crows have made their name with big mountain freeride and touring skis, they've reserved some magic for us on-piste rippers, as well. Exhibit A: the 85mm-waisted Black Crows Vertis, which perfectly balances stability and energy in a surprisingly lightweight chassis. With that narrow footprint and moderate tip rocker profile, it's no surprise that this carver gets you in and out of turns quickly and smoothly on corduroy. After all, its medium-stiff flex and snappy rebound is purpose-built for high performance on the frontside of the mountain. What might surprise you, though, is how versatile the Vertis can be. In bumps and tight trees, the light construction makes this ski feel nimble and slashable, and it has enough spine to blast through chopped up ungroomed terrain. If you prioritize on-piste charging, but still venture beyond the corduroy, the Black Crows Vertis will not let you down.
