The Black Crows Camox Freebird has long set the gold standard for all-terrain touring, and its latest redesign somehow makes this backcountry benchmark even better. Widened slightly to 97mm underfoot, it gains extra floatation in soft snow without sacrificing the quick, edge-to-edge agility that made it famous. A tightened 18-meter turning radius and solid flex underfoot make it surprisingly dynamic on hardpack, giving you dependable edge grip when tackling sketchy, refrozen snow. Up front, progressive tip rocker keeps things surfy, while an early-rise tail lets you pivot effortlessly through tight trees and steep chutes—the very kind Jim Morrison tackled on Everest. Black Crows also added extra fiberglass under the bindings for improved screw retention and an integrated skin-hook notch at the tail. Don\\\\\\\'t stress when you see that new tail hole; it\\\\\\\'s supposed to be there to make transitions seamless. Light enough for all-day skinning yet stout enough to charge the descent, the Camox Freebird is built for backcountry skiers seeking one playful, ultra-reliable setup for everything from midwinter powder hunts to long spring missions.

How to Return an Item
- Option 1: Bring the item to our store in Golden, Colorado for a full refund
- Option 2: Use a printable FedEx return label provided by Powder7:
- You are responsible for handing the package off at your local FedEx Office
- We do not provide return labels for any carrier other than FedEx
Returning New Items
- Please notify us within 30 days of receiving the new item if you would like to return it. Buying a gift? Don’t worry: our return window is extended around the holidays.
- Items may only be returned in their original new condition, including all packaging, tags, and accessories.
- All items must be re-packaged within a shipping box to prevent damage in transit.
- Returned items that arrive used, damaged, marked, or without all original packaging, tags, etc., will be refused and sent back to you.
- Once a pair of new skis has been mounted, it cannot be returned.
- When the return is processed, you will receive a full refund for the returned product(s), minus $10 for the prepaid return shipping label provided by Powder7. Please note: any outbound shipping charges are not refunded.
- Once we receive the return, please allow 3-5 business days for that refund transaction to appear on your account statement.
Returning New Ski Boots
- Please notify us within 30 days of receiving your new boots if you would like to return them.
- New ski boots may only be returned in their original new condition, including all packaging, tags, and accessories
- Boots must be returned inside their original undamaged boot box and re-packaged within a shipping box to prevent damage in transit.
- Any returned boots that arrive used, damaged, marked, or without all original packaging and a shipping box, will be declined and sent back to you.
- We always recommend trying on your new boots indoors to make sure they fit before taking them outside.
- Once we receive your return, please allow 3-5 business days for that refund transaction to appear on your account statement.
Returning Demo Skis and Other Used Items
- Please notify us within 7 days of receiving the item that you would like to return it.
- Once you ski on a pair of demo skis they cannot be returned.
- When the return is processed, you will receive a full refund for the product(s) as well as a refund for standard ground shipping ($39.99 for used skis, $19.99 for used snowboards, etc.). Please note: expedited shipping costs or international shipping costs will not be refunded.
- Once we receive your return, please allow 3-5 business days for that refund transaction to appear on your account statement.

- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer

We work with the best manufacturers in the winter sports industry, but occasionally defects do occur. If you think your product has a manufacturing defect please contact us. We'll work with the manufacturer to determine if their warranty covers the damage. Determining if the issue is a manufacturing defect is solely up to the manufacturer, not Powder7. Please note, this process can take several weeks and we will keep you updated as we correspond with the manufacturer.
