This Ski Is A Staff Favorite:
The ARW 96 is known mostly for it's abilities in the terrain park, but man, what a great all-mountain ski. I took it out on a spring day in early April, and as we all know, conditions are pretty variable. The ARW 96 floated well in powder, carved nicely on the groomed trails, and was tremendously easy to turn in tight trees. With a decent amount of camber underfoot, I loved how poppy and lively the ski felt, especially coming in and out of turns. I'm 5'8" and found that 163cm was about perfect for using it all over the mountain.

We can always count on Armada to hear what the people want, and make it for them. There's a gap in women's all-mountain skis, and that gap is for that freestyle oriented, twin tip, park ready ski that can shred the rest of the mountain too. The Armada ARW 96 came in hot to fill that gap a few years ago, and it's back for the 2022-23 season with just a topsheet update to keep it a step ahead of the rest. Will this new topsheet make you feel like oil dripping through water as you rip down the mountain? We don't know, but a poplar and ash core gives the ski energy and pop, and an AR75 sidewall keeps the ski stable and chatter-free on less than soft days, so you can at least feel that. That "hard to find in women's skis" twin tip design points you right at every booter and kicker you can find, and makes the park your home base. Armada knew that women needed a ski that can transition from the trees to the bumps to the park with ease, and they answered the call with the ARW 96.
