Blizzard Brand History and Characteristics

Blizzard credits its history back to 1945 when Toni Arnsteiner made his first set of skis in Austria. Soon after that the first large production of Blizzard skis began. Over the past 50 years, Blizzard athletes have been earning podium spots in all race disciplines. With a racing heritage, Blizzard set out to make all mountain and freeride skis in the 2000s with great success. TecnicaGroup out of Italy bought Blizzard in 2006.
