- 2019 Update: Our 2019 Kastle skis preview can be found here

The Tour series is back without changes. These are the skis you want for fast ascension and unflinching downhill performance.

The FX series has been updated for the 2017-18 ski season. Next year’s FX have an updated wood core with Silver Fir and Beech. The topsheet has been updated with a more durable material and the colors are updated to a light blue-teal for the FX95 and a bright yellow for the FX85.

The BMX series has updates for 2017-18. These skis have the updated Silver Fir/Beech wood core as well as the updated Corund-protection top foil topsheet material.

The LX series has gotten a complete update with a new Silver Fir/Beech wood core, a semi-cap sandwich sidewall construction, and early rise rocker (in the LX82 only). Skiers will still appreciate how lightweight and easy the LX is to ski. Learn excellent technique for graceful turns and continuously progress with the LX.

Finally, we take a look at the MX Series: The Skier’s Ski. In the above pictures, we can see the MX88 then and now. The far left is the brand new 2018 MX88 Anniversary Edition, next is the 2009 MX88, and finally that brings us to the MX Limited. The MX88 Anniversary Edition is a way that Kastle is bringing back the beloved ski with an updated graphic (much like the 2009 topsheet) and with a larger Hollowtech tip. It will only be available in 168cm and 178cm. The MX Limited will be produced in a very limited production of only 200 sets of skis worldwide (yes there will be an engraved serial number). It has a unique native cherry tree veneer topsheet as well as high-quality carbon layers for optimum driving characteristics. The specs are that of the MX84 and will be offered in 160cm, 168cm and 176cm only. Powder7 will likely get a few of each of these skis for our customers. Please reach out to us early if you’re interested because these will surely sell out!
