- 2019 Update: Our 2019 K2 skis preview can be found here
Next year’s K2 skis are looking good. Fun + performance is what you can expect from K2 and next season will be no different.

The popular Marksmen is back for 2018 with an even wider friend in tow: the Catamaran. As the name implies, its a wide ski for surfing the mountain. This next level asymmetrical twin tip is for powder skiing brought to you by [Sean] Pettit, Pep [Fujas], and the K2 R&D crew. The Sight is a new ski for 2018 with updated shaping for the ever progressing world of park skiing creativity.

The Pinnacle Series has been updated for the 2017-18 ski season to include stronger Konic cores. The rocker profile on the Pinnacle 105 has been dialed in a bit too for better powder performance. Skiers will find the new Pinnacles to be more stable overall. The Pinnacle 85 is a new width but is the same friendly construction as previous seasons.

Most of the Factory Team skis have been updated for the 2017-18 season. The Empress and the Missconduct have been completely redesigned for the 2018 season. They have new shaping and updates for progressive freestyle skiing. The Press is also newly updated. It has no nonsense durability and progressive shaping from K2’s 25 years of Factory Team design experience.

The Charger series is aptly-named for the skiers who love to speed down the mountain making precise turns while leaving rails behind them. The easy way to separate these is to think about the turning abilities. The Speed Charger has a long, GS style turn. The Super Charger has a medium turn. The Turbo Charger is for short radius turns with the quickness of a technician. The Charger is the more all around, medium turning, groomed run master.

The Backside Series has been newly updated with the Wayback 104 and Wayback 96 skis. These are a la the popular Coomback ski but with the newest Wayback construction. The women’s Backside skis have a new width as well in the Talkback 96.
